Compassionate Support

Twin Rivers End-of-Life Doula Services offers gentle guidance from the early conversations of advance care planning all the way through the final chapters of life. I walk beside individuals and families as they clarify what matters most, make meaningful choices, and move through each stage with greater ease and connection.

This work honours the meeting place of many experiences—preparation and presence, love and grief, holding on and letting go. These moments shape us in quiet, meaningful ways. My role is to offer steady companionship, thoughtful support, and a calm place to rest as you navigate them.

Whether you are planning ahead or nearing the end of life, Twin Rivers offers in‑person and virtual support, creating a warm, respectful space where your voice leads and your values are held with care.

About Me

I came to this work because I have always felt drawn to the quiet, tender edges of life—the places where presence matters more than answers, and compassion matters more than instruction. Supporting others through end‑of‑life and grief feels less like a career choice and more like a calling, something that has unfolded naturally through my own experiences, values, and the way I move through the world.

I am continually moved by the strength, vulnerability, and honesty that emerge during life’s transitions. Being able to offer steadiness, deep listening, and gentle guidance during these moments feels like meaningful, heart‑centered work. No one should have to navigate this time alone, and it is an honour to walk beside individuals and families with care, respect, and a commitment to preserving dignity and voice.

Common Questions

What are the limitations of an End-of-Life Doula?
An End‑of‑Life Doula offers non‑medical, non‑legal, and non‑directive emotional, spiritual, and practical support. This role complements the care already provided by medical teams, hospice or palliative services, legal professionals, financial advisors, and spiritual or religious leaders. End‑of‑life doulas do not provide medical advice, make decisions on behalf of others, or perform clinical tasks. Instead, they offer a calm, steady presence, helping individuals and their loved ones navigate this time with clarity, dignity, and compassion, while honouring personal values and the unique way each person wishes to move through the final chapter of life.
How do I know if I need an End-of-Life Doula?
If you are facing the end-of-life journey, whether for yourself or a loved one, an end-of-life doula can help you navigate the emotional and practical aspects of this time. Offering support, guidance, and planning to ensure that your wishes are respected and that you find peace as you approach the end of life.
